Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made at Tŷ Mawr Caravan Park & Campsite. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.

Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been successfully received.

  • Bookings for more than one pitch must be made by contacting us directly prior to arrival.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings that exceed pitch limits or breach site policies.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.

  • No refunds or discounts will be given for:

    • Inclement or adverse weather

    • Late arrivals

    • Early departures

  • Failure to arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

  • Where possible, and entirely at our discretion, we may offer the option to transfer a booking to alternative dates, subject to availability.

  • Guests are strongly advised to arrange appropriate holiday insurance to cover cancellations, personal belongings, or injury during their stay.

Force Majeure

  • In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control:

    • Where we are unable to provide your stay, we will offer a refund or alternative dates where possible.

    • Where the site remains open and operational, standard cancellation terms will apply.

Arrival & Departure Times

Camping & Touring

  • Arrival: 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm

  • Departure: By 12:00 pm

Guests must adhere to these times to allow safe and fair operation of the site for all visitors.

Admission & Occupancy

  • Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Hen parties, stag parties, or similar group bookings are not permitted.

  • Occupancy must not exceed the maximum number stated at the time of booking.

Dogs

  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times.

  • Guide dogs are permitted on site free of charge.

  • For the safety of all guests, the site does not accept dogs of breeds or crossbreeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act, including but not limited to:

    • XL Bully

    • Pit Bull Terrier

    • Japanese Tosa

    • Dogo Argentino

    • Fila Brasileiro

    • Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    • American Staffordshire Terrier

    • Rottweiler

    • Mastiff or Tosa types

Site Conduct & Behaviour

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other visitors, staff, and the surrounding environment.

  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a stay if behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

  • No refunds will be issued where a stay is terminated due to unacceptable behaviour.

Complaints & Issues

  • Any issues or complaints must be reported to site management immediately during your stay to allow us the opportunity to resolve them.

  • Complaints raised after departure cannot be investigated or resolved.

Safety & Fire Regulations

  • Barbecues are permitted but must:

    • Be raised off the ground

    • Be attended by an adult at all times

  • Fires, barbecues, and fire pits may be restricted or prohibited during dry, hot, or windy conditions.

  • Firearms are not permitted anywhere on site.

Vehicles

  • Commercial vehicles, including sign-written vehicles or vehicles used for work purposes, goods transport, or fare-paying passengers, are not permitted on site.

  • All vehicles must be parked considerately and only in designated areas.

Pitch Allocation

  • Whilst we aim to allocate specific pitches where possible, Tŷ Mawr Caravan Park & Campsite reserves the right to reallocate pitches to an alternative pitch of equivalent standard where operationally required.

Liability

  • Guests stay at Tŷ Mawr Caravan Park & Campsite at their own risk.

  • We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to persons, vehicles, or property whilst on site, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

  • Guests are responsible for their own belongings at all times.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By completing a booking, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.

  • These Terms & Conditions are subject to change. The version in force at the time of booking will apply.
